What is Plus Email Addressing?

Plus email addressing allows you to create different versions of your email address without having to create a new email account. All versions you create with plus email addressing will deliver emails to your original inbox. 

Websites (including Rehome by Adopt a Pet, and Adopt a Pet) will register the new version of your email as a new account, as it will not match your original email address in their system. 

How to Create a Plus Email Address

To create a plus email address you just need to add a "+" after your account name and before the @ symbol. 

For example: [e-mail] can become [e-mail].
