We wish there was an easier answer on this one, but unfortunately, once you submit 1) an adoption application, or 2) a question via "Ask about Me" on a pet's profile, there isn't a way to change the phone or email address you entered.
However, here are a couple workarounds!
If you entered the wrong phone number on your application, simply apply for that pet again using the correct phone number. We suggest the following:
- In the First Name field add, for example, “Jane_NewPhone#”
- Before answering the question, "Why do you want to adopt a pet?" add: This is Jane Doe, I already submitted an application but the phone number was wrong, here's my correct number (555)-555-5555. Thank you.
If you prefer to use a different email address on Adopt a Pet in general, you’ll need to create a brand new account. If you would like your old account deactivated, submit a request here and be sure to include the email address associated with the account you would like deleted.
